Flying patients abroad – customized solutions, for any reason and any destination
When medical care in Israel is insufficient or unavailable, and sometimes when the heart wants to return home, a fundamental and sensitive need arises: flying patients abroad. This is a complex medical and logistical operation that requires careful planning, professional guidance, and coordination with many parties - medical, diplomatic, and aviation.
At Paramedical – we specialize in exactly that. Many patients have already traveled with us from Israel to hospitals and medical institutions all over the world.

When is it necessary to fly patients abroad?

A story from the field
A Sri Lankan caregiver working in Israel suffered a severe stroke and was hospitalized for a year in an Israeli hospital. Her condition stabilized, but she required prolonged rehabilitation. The family sought to return her to her country – but this required coordination with Sri Lankan authorities, a local receiving hospital, and the creation of a complex flight itinerary with medical escort.
A paramedic managed the entire process – from the paperwork to the landing near her home – and the patient was housed in a nearby rehabilitation facility, with her family by her side.
