Emergency Workshop for Clinics

Emergency Situations Workshop for Clinics and Health Funds

Private clinics and health insurance clinics treat a variety of medical conditions that require the dedicated care of the clinic's doctors and nursing staff. Sometimes, a patient comes to the clinic suffering from an emergency condition that is not part of daily care and poses a significant medical challenge to the doctor and the clinic staff.

The most common emergencies encountered in clinics and health insurance offices are cardiac emergencies such as:

  • Myocardial infarction

  • Arrhythmias

  • Anaphylaxis

  • Stroke

  • Hypoglycemia

  • Unconsciousness

  • Other emergencies

In an emergency preparedness workshop at the clinic, we go over the needs of the clinic with the clinic director and medical director and build a special training and guidance program specific to the clinic.

The training includes the front desk, paramedics, and medical staff.

Professional actors can be added who will arrive at the clinic without preparation by the medical team and "surprise" them by dealing with the emergency situation.

We will then provide feedback and learn the strengths and weaknesses in handling the emergency situation.

Once the strengths and weaknesses are identified, training will be developed that will be reinforced in designated locations and will include practice using advanced equipment and clinic equipment.

The training team includes paramedics with extensive experience in treating medical emergencies in the pre-hospital setting and with extensive experience in training and practicing medical teams.

After the workshop, the medical team will feel confident and be more prepared to provide correct, rapid, and high-quality treatment in emergency situations that may occur in the clinic.

The workshop can be booked at private clinics and health fund clinics.
